Access to research material and resources is one of the major constrains that researchers face. Faster access to a standard set of resources not only would acceerate the pace of research in Tuberculosis, but also would enable the comparison and integration of research data. Identifying access limitations as a major roadblock for accelerated reseacrh into discovering novel therapeutics for Tuberculosis, OSDD announces the creation of an Open Access Repository for research material. This includes repository of clinical isolates, small molecules and clones and proteins.
The resource would be populated both by contributions from researchers, clinicians and organisations including pharmaceutical Industries, and would be available to all free of cost through the OSDD portal on request. All data generated on the reosurce would be governed by the OSDD Licence. |
